What are virtual care solutions?
With Virtual Care by Teladoc Health®, your employees have access to on-demand visits with a U.S. board-certified doctor or nurse practitioner for minor illnesses such as colds, sore throats, urinary tract infections and pink eye. Online doctor visits are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with an average wait time of under 15 minutes.
Employees can also connect with board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists and other licensed clinicians when they’re dealing with stressful situations or issues such as grief, anxiety, or depression. Therapy and psychiatry services are available by appointment seven days a week.
Virtual Primary Care by Teladoc Health is an addition to Virtual Care that allows your employees to have their primary care visits virtually. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, in all 50 states. Before their first virtual doctor visit, your employees receive a care kit in the mail that includes a blood pressure cuff.
After the appointment, the physician will order any recommended labs, provide a care plan and any necessary education or follow-up information. Employees can contact their care team 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
