Health e-Blue is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network’s secure clinical support tool that helps primary care providers identify and track the health of their members. Health e-Blue also gives providers access to:

• Important updates and newsletters
• Member panel information, such as treatment opportunities, diagnosis evaluation and the ability to generate member letters
• Provider reports, including quality and pharmacy information
• Training materials, incentive documents and other resources

If you treat patients who are covered by BCN Healthy Blue Living^SM HMO, you can also use Health e-Blue to enter information from patient qualification forms.

Who can use Health e-Blue?

Note that there are two types of Health e-Blue access:

• Group-level access: Access by practice group — unlimited as long as practices are in the same physician organization — or an entire physician organization
• Individual-level access: Access by physician (National Provider Identifier)

A user can have only one type of access — either group level or individual level — for Health e-Blue.

How do I access Health e-Blue?

To access Health e-Blue:

1. Log in to Availity Essentials.
2. Choose Payer Spaces and then select the Blue Cross and BCN logo.
3. In the Applications tab, select the tile to access the appropriate instance of Health e-Blue:
   • For Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan commercial, choose Health e-Blue - BCBSM.
   • For Medicare Plus Blue^SM, choose Health e-Blue - Medicare Plus Blue PPO.    
   • For Blue Care Network commercial and BCN Advantage^SM members, choose Health e-Blue - BCN.
4. Select your organization and select Continue at the bottom of the page.
5. Select Submit.
