First make sure it's open enrollment or find out if you qualify for special enrollment. Those are the only times you can buy individual health insurance.

When you're ready to get a quote and apply, you may be able to do that online, too. It'll depend on the plan you're interested in. If that option isn't available, you can get a quote and apply through one of our health plan advisors or agents.

Tip: You may be eligible for financial assistance that lowers the cost of your insurance. This help is called a subsidy. You can use our subsidy estimator to find out if you're eligible.
