How does 2nd.MD work?
Once your employees or their eligible dependents activate their 2nd.MD account by phone or through the mobile app, they can request a consultation.
They will speak with a nurse to see if a second opinion is right for them. The program handles the rest, including gathering their medical records, finding the right specialist and setting up a virtual care video consultation.
They will then be able get personalized advice about their diagnosis and treatment plan from a specialist. Virtual visits are available when it’s convenient for your employees, including nights and weekends.
