Where can I find a pharmacy in my network?
Who is this for?
If you need to fill a prescription, we'll help you find a pharmacy in your network so you can save on costs.
Using a network pharmacy* is important. You’ll pay more for your prescription drugs if you go to an out-of-network pharmacy. When you're a Medicare Advantage or Prescription Blue℠ PDP member, you have access to 98 percent** of pharmacies in Michigan.
Find a pharmacy
Our online pharmacy directory is updated more frequently than our printed directories, so it's the best way to see if a pharmacy is in your plan's network.
Just enter your ZIP code to see network pharmacies near you. It's a good idea to call the pharmacy first to make sure they're still in our network.
You can use the documents below to find out more about how our pharmacy networks work.
Ask your local pharmacy
Are you new to Medicare? Did you change your Medicare plan? If you already have a pharmacy that's filled your prescriptions in the past, give them a call. Tell them the name of your new plan and ask them if they're in our network. It's a good idea to do this before you need a prescription filled.
Do you get 90-day refills of your prescription? Want to save money? If your pharmacy is in our network, ask them if they're a preferred pharmacy. That means they'll give you a discount on your copay for a 90-day refill. Learn more by reading What are preferred pharmacies?
BCN Advantage members
BCN Advantage members with group coverage don’t have preferred pharmacies as part of their pharmacy network. Look in your group’s prescription drug rider for 90-day drug refill costs.
You'll see pharmacies in our directory that are outside the BCN Advantage service area. You may also fill your prescriptions at these pharmacies.
Using a mail-order pharmacy
You can get prescriptions delivered to your home through Express Scripts® and Walgreens Mail Service. This option is available with all our Medicare Advantage and Prescription Blue PDP plans. How can I get mail-order prescription services? explains how to get started.
