Understanding Your MIChild Benefits
MIChild is a health care coverage program from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services for uninsured and underinsured children under the age of 19.
These children are in need of medical, dental, vision, hearing and prescription coverage with no copays, coinsurance or deductibles.
You pay just $10 a month for all of your children who qualify, even if you have more than one child. You can even choose to receive your care and services from Blue Cross Complete.
Who's eligible for MIChild?
You can apply for your uninsured or underinsured children if they're U.S. citizens, Michigan residents and if they're under 19 years old. Eligibility is also based on your family income and other family circumstances.
