To provide transparency, we’ve outlined the commission offered to agents for selling BCBSM and BCN medical products in this chart. An individual is charged the same premium regardless of whether they use an agent or directly apply for coverage through BCBSM or Healthcare.gov.
An agent’s commissions are between 2% and 6% of premiums.

Blue Cross also uses subcontractors to assist with member enrollment, distribution of commissions to agents and other administrative functions. These subcontractors may receive payment for their services.
