Who's eligible for this 2021 benefit?
This benefit is available to Medicare Advantage members with a BCN Advantage HMO-POS Elements, Classic, Prestige or Prime Value* plan, a Community Value plan or an HMO ConnectedCare plan and any of our Medicare Plus Blue PPO plans.
*Excludes Prime Value members who reside in the following counties: Alcona, Alpena, Arenac, Bay, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Clare, Crawford, Gladwin, Huron, Iosco, Kalkaska, Luce, Mackinac, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Presque Ilse, Roscommon, Saginaw, Saniliac, Schoolcraft, Shiawassee, Tuscola.
What you get with your 2021 allowance
You get an Advantage Dollars card pre-loaded with an allowance of $25 -$100 per quarter, depending on which Medicare Advantage plan you have. Your card can be used to purchase eligible items such as:

- Vitamins and minerals
- Pain relievers and fever reducers
- Allergy and sinus products
- Cold and flu products
- Digestive aids
- First aid supplies
- Skin and sun care products

How to use your Advantage Dollars card
Using the Advantage Dollars card is simple. You can purchase items at participating retailers or order OTC items by mail, phone or online through NationsOTC. Food items may only be purchased in stores. Unused amounts of your quarterly allowance don't roll over into the next quarter.
