  • Life-threatening injury or illness: Go to the nearest hospital or urgent care center. In most cases, we’ll cover services at your in-network amount.
  • If you need routine care: You can see any doctor you choose who accepts Medicare. But you’ll pay less if you see a doctor who’s in our network. Find a doctor.

Traveling outside of Michigan within the U.S.

For emergency, urgent or routine care, you can see any doctor or go to the nearest hospital that accepts Medicare. In most cases, we’ll cover services at your in-network amount.

Traveling outside of the U.S.

  • Life-threatening injury or illness: Go to the nearest hospital or urgent care center. In most cases, we’ll cover services at your in-network amount. Our plans cover emergency care outside the U.S. with a $50,000 lifetime maximum.
  • If you need routine care: Your plan doesn't cover this care outside of the U.S.
