New well-being program launching in January
What you need to know
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's online well-being resources are transitioning to Virgin Pulse** from WebMD® on Jan. 1, 2025.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network members will soon have access to Blue Cross Well-Being℠, a more comprehensive and modern health and well-being experience.
Starting on Jan. 1, 2025, members can log in to their member accounts at bcbsm.com or our mobile app for:
- An enhanced online experience that delivers personalized daily content based on our members’ interests, health risks and demographics
- Seamless integration with more than 100 tracking devices and apps, including Apple Health and Google Fit***
- A checklist to help members stay on top of recommended preventive health care based on their specific needs
- A detailed health assessment with more guidance for modifiable health risks
- Self-guided well-being courses called Journeys® to help build healthy habits that stick
- Live one-on-one unlimited tobacco cessation coaching for help to stop smoking, vaping and using nicotine
We encourage you to direct your patients who are Blue Cross or BCN members to these resources to supplement your care plan and help them build healthy habits that stick. These resources are included with every Blue Cross and BCN health plan at no added cost.
**Virgin Pulse is becoming Personify Health™ on Jan. 1, 2025.
***Members using Max Go, Samsung Health, Apple Health or Google Fit must use the Personify Health app to synchronize them with their Blue Cross Well-Being account.
