New training guide for behavioral health providers posted on training site

Visit our provider training site regularly to find new resources on topics that are important to your role.

Provider Experience continues to offer training resources for health care providers and staff. Our on-demand courses are designed to help you work more efficiently with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network.

We recently added the following guide:

  • Provider training and resource guide for behavioral health providers. Providers new to our networks will find a list of training courses and reference documents that will help them as they begin working with Blue Cross and BCN. The guide covers such topics as getting enrolled in online tools, checking benefits and eligibility, and submitting prior authorization requests and claims. It's located in the provider training site’s Knowledge Center.

Check the dashboard on our provider training site regularly for announcements as we add more courses, including those with CME offerings. The dashboard was designed to enhance the training experience for health care providers and staff.

Access our training site

If you don’t already have access to our training site, you can request access by following these steps:

  1. Open the registration page.
  2. Complete the registration. We recommend using the same email you use to communicate with Blue Cross for provider-related needs. This will become your login ID.
  3. Follow the link to log in.
