Help improve health of patients with diabetes while reducing medical record review requestsThe Comprehensive Diabetes Care, or CDC, HEDIS® measure (also a Medicare Star Ratings measure) supports the consistent medical care and monitoring needed by patients with diabetes to reduce the risk of severe complications and improve outcomes. Interventions to improve outcomes go beyond glycemic control. That’s why the measure assesses HbA1c control, screening for diabetic retinopathy, screening for nephropathy and blood pressure control.
