General Motors prescription benefits will be handled by CVS Caremark as of Aug. 1

Beginning Aug. 1, 2017, prescription benefits for certain General Motors members will be handled by CVS Caremark. Previously, ESI Direct administered these benefits. General Motors members affected by this change are from group numbers 83200, 83640 and 83650.

In July, we sent these members new ID cards that have the updated prescription benefit information, including the RxBin number.

The numbers are:

  • RxBIN 004336
  • RxPCN ADV
  • RxGRP RX0570

Questions about member prescription benefits should be directed to CVS Caremark at the number on the back of the member’s ID card.
