Diagnosis gap: A suspected or chronic condition that hasn’t been documented and coded in the current calendar year or hasn’t been confirmed as not applicable to the member
Treatment opportunity: A preventive service or treatment needed by the member, measured according to Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set quality indicators
Our Health e-Blue tool is being expanded to encompass all you do to close diagnosis gaps and treatment opportunities for patients enrolled in individual and small group plans, in addition to your Medicare Advantage patients.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan will offer introductory webinars in late March and early April to let you know all about the new Health e-Blue site, targeted to members who have purchased an individual health plan or who are enrolled in a small group plan with fewer than 50 people. The site, which will complement the Medicare Advantage version, is scheduled to go live April 1, 2014.
This new version of Health e-Blue will mirror the look, feel and organization of the Medicare Advantage version. Individuals who need a refresher on Health e-Blue or want to attend an orientation on the new version are encouraged to register for one of the following live webinars:
