Reminder: Refer MIChild members within network for preventive services

Preventive care services, including immunizations, are covered at 100 percent of our approved amount for BCBSM-enrolled MIChild members when the services are provided by a TRUST, or PPO, provider. If members need referrals for these services, they must be referred to health care providers in the TRUST PPO network.

When these services are provided outside the TRUST network – for example, at community health departments – the services are not covered, and members will have to pay for the services out-of-pocket. Promoting preventive care and making referrals to PPO providers ensures MIChild members receive covered services and the appropriate care they need.
