Submit MIChild CSHCS member claims to Michigan Department of Community Health

If you are treating a BCBSM MIChild Children’s Special Health Care Services member, you must first submit claims for treatment of the CSHCS condition to the Michigan Department of Community Health.

CSHCS is a Michigan Department of Community Health program that assists children and young adults (younger than 21) who require specialty medical care. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is the designated health plan for MIChild Children’s Special Health Care Services members.
