BMC2 announces release of their public-facing annual report

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Cardiovascular Consortium, or BMC2, is pleased to announce its recent release of its 2022 Annual Report. This public-facing report provides a snapshot of the quality improvement achievements across BMC2 percutaneous artery interventions, vascular surgery, the Michigan Structural Heart Consortium, or MISHC, and the Michigan Cardiac Rehab Network ,or MiCR. The report contains the following:

• Quality improvement goals and achievements across all BMC2 programs (PCI (stents), vascular surgery, MISHC, and MiCR)
• New video on efforts to reduce radiation exposure during PCI procedures
• Publications and presentations highlights
• 2022 best practice protocols
• Patient Advisory Council accomplishments
• Look to the future – including a new database to be launched soon
