In brief: Health e-Blue; behavioral health collaborative care services; BlueCard processes Health e-Blue update: New requirement to submit quality data for HEDIS measures Starting Jan. 1, 2026, there will be changes to the way primary care providers and group administrators submit quality data to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network. Primary source verification will be needed for three HEDIS® measures if entered into Health e-Blue℠ in 2026 and for all measures in 2027. Also starting in 2026, all measures manually entered into Health e-Blue must be entered by year-end of the measurement year. Read the full article in the April 2025 Record. Behavioral health providers shouldn’t submit claims for behavioral health collaborative care services As a reminder, behavioral health providers shouldn’t bill Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan or Blue Care Network for collaborative care services performed in a primary care or specialty setting. These services are associated with procedure codes *99492, *99493 and *99494, and HCPCS codes G0512 and G2214. For complete details, see the May 2025 Record article.
