Blue Cross ranked No. 1 in member satisfaction, most trusted among commercial health plans in Michigan for 2025 by J.D. Power

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan was recognized in May by J.D. Power for the second year in a row as No. 1 in member satisfaction and most trusted among commercial health plans in Michigan.

The J.D. Power Award is given to the health plan that ranks first overall in their region in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Study. This includes its commercial PPO, HMO and POS plan members. Blue Cross achieved the highest ranking in overall satisfaction, making it a recipient of the honor for five of the last seven years, despite gains made by all competitors included in the survey.

J.D. Power’s annual study is comprised of eight study categories. Blue Cross is the highest in seven of the eight categories. These categories include:

• Trust – Level of trust
• Ease – Ease of doing business
• Cost – Helps save time or money
• Problem Resolution – Resolving problems or complaints
• Coverage – Product coverage offerings meet my needs
• Digital Channels – Website, mobile application(s) and texts
• People – Quality of representatives and/or call center agents
• Access – Members are able to obtain health services how and when they want
