Cancer screening rates improve for patients with PCMH doctors
A new study, published recently in JAMA Internal Medicine, shows Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s Patient-Centered Medical Home model improved overall cancer screening rates for colon, breast and cervical cancer. The improvement was even more pronounced for patients of lower socioeconomic status. Read more.
