Enjoy a healthy salad
You can use salad for a quick, healthy and filling meal. Be creative in your use of ingredients — try new vegetables, fruits and proteins. Use baby spinach or a spring mix rather than iceberg lettuce to get the health benefits of dark, leafy greens. Top with savory roasted vegetables and add a lean protein or even a whole grain to not only add flavor but make a heartier meal. Make your own dressing with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar so you can control calories, and use a healthy fat, such as extra virgin olive oil.
