How do I change my password?

Learn how to change your eSettlements password.

If you're a supplier and you need to change your eSettlements password, this information will tell you how.

If you're already signed up for eSettlements and you want to change your password, fill out this inquiry form (PDF) and send it to bcbsmaccountspayable@bcbsm.com. Note: Only the Admin ID can get their eSettlements password reset.

Change your temporary password

When you sign up for eSettlements, we give you a temporary password. You'll use that the first time you sign in, then you'll need to change it.

  1. From the homepage, go to Main Menu then Change My Password.
  2. Enter your current password. Then enter your new password twice.
  3. Select the Change Password button.

Guidelines for changing your password

  • Your password needs to have at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. It also needs at least eight characters.
  • You’ll need to change your initial password within five days of activating your account and at least once every 30 days after that.
  • You can reuse a password, but you’ll have to change your password six times between uses.
  • After ten unsuccessful login attempts, your user ID will be locked and you’ll have to contact an administrator.
