MQIC Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guidelines
The Michigan Quality Improvement Consortium (MQIC) is composed of 13 health plans, physician specialty societies, and other organizations in the State of Michigan, including the Michigan Department of Community Health.
MQIC develops evidence-based clinical practice guidelines which are endorsed by all participating plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, in order to effect improvement in health status for the citizens of Michigan, and to increase reporting standardization for physicians.
Please refer to mqic.org to access the guidelines, tools physicians may use in their office, and reports which provide MQIC community HEDIS® and non-HEDIS results for over 100 quality improvement measures.
