Electronic Nonclaims, Real-Time Transactions
We offer providers an electronic real-time option for member eligibility, benefit information and claims status. This technology lets you integrate the submission of eligibility and claims status inquiries and the processing of the subsequent response into your patient registration system.
We currently support a commercial messaging software called WebSphere MQ. This connection will require an SSL digital certificate. SSL certificates from Entrust Certificate Services contain the attributes required by BCBSM and have been tested by BCBSM for system compatibility and performance. Other certificate services are available, such as Verisign, Thawte, and Geotrust.
