BlueVision ID cards

You'll get your vision ID card in the mail after you enroll. Here are a few things you should know about your card.

  • Your vision card is separate from your medical card.
  • If your dependents or spouse are covered on your policy, you'll get identical vision ID cards with your name on them. You won't get a card with each person's name, even if you're a Medicare Advantage member.
  • If you and your spouse are both MPSERS members but have your own policies, you'll get your own, separate ID cards.

If you lost your vision ID card or you’re waiting for it to come in the mail, you can still use your vision coverage. Just tell your provider you have VSP with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and they will be able to help you.

If you lost your ID card or never received it, call Blue Cross customer service at 1-800-422-9146 to request a new one.

If you have questions about your BlueVision coverage, call VSP at 1-877-478-7558.

You can use Find a Doctor on bcbsm.com to locate a VSP doctor or retail chain affiliate. Choose Pharmacy, dental and vision, then select VSP Advantage, or visit vsp.com/advantage.
