For employees and retirees

Original Medicare is just basic hospital and medical coverage. Your employer may offer Medicare Advantage plans—also called Medicare Part C—or Medicare supplement insurance. These plans add benefits Medicare doesn’t cover and lower your out-of-pocket costs when you need care. The employer or group decides on which plans to offer, which determines the cost.
