Where can I find a pharmacy in my network?
Who is this for?
If you need to fill a prescription, we'll help you find a pharmacy in your network so you can save on costs.
When you're a member of our Medicare Advantage or Prescription Blue℠ PDP plans, finding a pharmacy is easy. That's because 98 percent of pharmacies in Michigan are in our network.
Using a network pharmacy is important. In most cases, we won't pay our share of the cost for your prescription if you go to an out-of-network pharmacy.
Here's how to find a pharmacy in your plan's network.
Ask your local pharmacy
Are you new to Medicare? Did you change your Medicare plan? If you already have a pharmacy that's filled your prescriptions in the past, give them a call. Tell them the name of your new plan and ask them if they're in our network. It's a good idea to do this before you need a prescription filled.
Do you get 90-day refills of your prescription? Want to save money? If your pharmacy is in our network, ask them if they're a preferred pharmacy. That means they'll give you a discount on your copay for a 90-day refill. Learn more by reading What are preferred pharmacies?
Look in your pharmacy directory
Maybe you moved recently, or your local pharmacy closed or doesn't take your plan. If you need to find a new pharmacy in your network, you can look in your plan's pharmacy directory. It has listings for:
- Chain pharmacies like Walmart and Meijer
- Retail pharmacies
- Mail order pharmacies
- Long-term care and home infusion pharmacies
- Pharmacies that fill prescriptions for specialty drugs
You can also find preferred pharmacies in your directory. Select your plan below to get started. If you have any questions or need help, call the Customer Service number on the back of your Blues ID card.
What about mail-order pharmacies?
All our Medicare Advantage and Prescription Blue PDP plans come with in-network mail-order service through Express Scripts®. How can I get mail-order prescription services? explains to how get started.
