If you're enrolled in a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan or Blue Care Network Medicare plan, here's how to get a replacement ID card.

If your Blues ID card is lost or damaged, you don't need to worry. It's easy to get a replacement ID card. And you're still covered, even when you're waiting for your new card to come in the mail.

All you have to do is call the customer service number on your Explanation of Benefits statement. If you don't have one, you can find the right phone number for your plan on our contact us page.

We can only replace your Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan or Blue Care Network ID card. If you've lost your red, white and blue Medicare card, you’ll need to contact U.S. Social Security Administration:

  • Visit the Social Security website.
  • Call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. TTY users call 1-800-325-0778.
