Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan presents the Diana C. Jones Award annually to an exceptional organization that provides older adults with health or social services they need to give them a meaningful life.
The award program was established in honor of Diana C. Jones, retired Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan vice president of Community Affairs, for her advocacy and concern for the needs of older adults.
Nomination criteria
- The organization must be community-based and provide a service or offer assistance to older adults
- The organization develops or manages projects leading to a greater awareness of the health, needs, and well-being of older adults within a community
- The organization must promote a positive image of service within a community and must be in good standing within a community
- Must be a 501(c)(3) organization
How to nominate an organization for the Diana C. Jones Award
We accept nominations between February and May. Winners are announced in June. When it’s time to start nominating for the 2013 awards, you can:
