Will Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan participate in the Exchange?

Yes. We’re preparing for open enrollment in the Exchange in October 2013. We’ll be here to support our customers and members as potential shifts occur in how people buy and receive their health care. 

We will continue to:

• Advise you when you have questions
• Explore ways to make health plans more affordable 
• Modify and introduce innovative health plans that meet federal guidelines
• Update benefits as required by the regulations
• Help people without coverage understand the subsidies they may qualify for, how to use them on the Exchange and how they may, in certain cases, be eligible for Medicaid
