What’s the Exchange?

The Exchange is a marketplace that creates a new and transparent method of buying health insurance. You’ll be able to apply for coverage online, in person, by phone and by mail. It opens to individuals in 2014.

The health care reform law regulates plans offered on and off the Exchange to make sure everyone has access to the same levels of coverage.
