A deductible is the amount of money you have to pay before your health insurance begins to pay.

Your deductible will vary depending on the health care service you are paying for. In-network services have lower deductibles than out-of-network services. Inpatient services have lower deductibles than outpatient services.

There are separate deductibles for:

  • Individuals
  • Families
  • Inpatient services
  • Outpatient services
  • In-network services
  • Out-of-network services
