What’s my out-of-pocket maximum?
An out-of-pocket maximum is the amount of money you have to spend before your health insurance covers 100 percent of the cost of health care services.
Your out-of-pocket maximum depends on:
- What level of deductible you choose
- Whether you have an individual or family plan
- Whether you receive in-network or out-of-network care
