What’s my waiting period for pre-existing conditions?

A waiting period is the time it takes for your health insurance to take effect once you’ve enrolled in a health care plan.

If you're age 19 or older, you'll have to wait 180 days before your Flexible Blue℠ plan will cover your pre-existing conditions, except for preventive care, which has a 90-day benefit waiting period.
