Woman's Choice Program

Our female members have a choice. If you prefer to see a gynecologist or obstetrician for routine services such as Pap tests, annual well-woman visits and obstetrical care, you can — without a referral from your primary care physician. Our Woman’s Choice program allows you to visit a Blue Care Network-affiliated gynecologist, obstetrician or obstetrician/gynecologist in addition to your primary care physician without a referral. For other covered services, your primary care physician may first need to authorize a referral or provide the services for you.

You do not need to select a Woman's Choice physician when you enroll. Simply visit a BCN-affiliated obstetrician or gynecologist for your routine care.
