Vision and Mission

There’s been a lot of debate over the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Also known as health care reform, it’s expected to:

• Decrease the number of people without health insurance
• Reduce health care costs
• Improve health care outcomes
• Make the delivery of health care more efficient

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has been doing all these things for decades. When you read about our commitment and contributions, we don’t think there’ll be any debate. When more people can get health insurance and health care, it makes Michigan a healthier place to be.
