Mark Cook — Vice President
Mark leads the Governmental Affairs team and is responsible for the operation of the entire department. He works directly with state and federal officials to communicate BCBSM's position on pertinent issues.
Kimlee Beattie — Senior Analyst
Kim assists legislators and their staff with constituent inquiries pertaining to BCBSM and its affiliates.
Jennifer Hayes — Senior Policy Analyst
Jennifer analyzes state and federal legislation to determine the corporation's position. She also represents BCBSM at many workgroups and committee meetings.
Kevin Hertel — Part-time Technician
Kevin performs numerous administrative duties. He is also responsible for maintaining the department Web site.
Kris Kangas-Kraft — Director — State Relations
Kris deals with legislation at the state level and maintains working relationships with members of the legislature.
Amy Modlin — Director — Federal Relations
Amy deals with legislation at the federal level and maintains working relationships with members of congress.
Deborah Riddick — Senior Policy Analyst
Deborah analyzes and formulates corporate positions on state legislation. She also represents BCBSM at committee meetings and workgroups.
Rebecca Spencer — bluesPAC Coordinator
Rebecca oversees the administration of bluesPAC, the voluntary employee political action committee for the Blues Enterprise.
Deidra Wilson — Manager — State Relations and Analysis
Deidra coordinates and manages the legislative analysis process and is the key contact for state related issues.
