Diana C. Jones Award

About the Award

We present the Diana C. Jones Award annually to an exceptional organization that provides older adults with health or social services to help them continue to live meaningful lives.


The award program was established in honor of Diana C. Jones, retired Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan vice president of Community Affairs, for her advocacy and concern for the needs of the elderly.


Nomination Criteria

  • Organization must be community-based and provide a service or offer assistance to older adults
  • Organization develops or manages projects leading to a greater awareness of the health, needs, and well-being of older adults within a community
  • Organization must promote a positive image of service within a community and must be in good standing within a community
  • Must be a 501(c)(3) organization
