Beneficiary Resource Services™*, provided through our relationship with Dearborn Life Insurance Company and LifeWorks, helps members and their beneficiaries:

  • Manage legal or financial issues that can result after the loss of a loved one
  • Provide information on pre-planning or planning a funeral
  • Create, modify and store a last will and testament online
  • Cope with and recover from the emotional impact of the loss of a loved one

DearbornCares℠ provides an advance payment of life insurance benefits to help beneficiaries cover immediate expenses like funeral costs and medical bills.

  • Pays up to $100,000 in employer-paid life insurance claims
  • Available for covered employees and retirees
  • Available on claims with one, two or three named beneficiaries
  • No death certificate required
