If your plan covers preventive services, they are generally covered at 100 percent and are not subject to your deductible. Each time you seek treatment for other qualified services, you can choose how much you'd like to pay from your health account.

3. Meet your yearly deductible requirement.

After you've met your deductible requirement for the year, you're only responsible for copayments according to the Flexible Blue plan design your employer has selected. You can choose to pay copayment amounts for qualified services from your health account or out of pocket.
