What is the PCP Focus network?

PCP Focus is a custom primary care physician HMO network that can help employers lower their health benefit costs through savings on premiums.

Available in Southeast Michigan, the PCP Focus network gives high-quality care at lower costs through efficient managed care. The network keeps premiums affordable while giving your employees everything they need to improve their health.

The PCP Focus network is centered where you work, live and play:

• Livingston
• Macomb
• Monroe
• Oakland
• St. Clair
• Washtenaw
• Wayne

Employer savings

The PCP Focus network was designed to be paired with select packaged BCN 5℠, deductible, or Healthy Blue Living.

Businesses that pair PCP Focus with a BCN 5 or deductible package plan can save up to 10 percent in premiums.

Those who combine it with Healthy Blue Living℠ can save up to an additional 5 percent on already discounted rates.

Flexible quality care

With PCP Focus, your employees can choose from more than 1,000 primary care physicians located across seven counties in Southeast Michigan. This includes more than 40 percent of the doctors from Blue Care Network in those counties.

You also get the flexibility to see almost any of Blue Care Network’s more than 14,000 specialists and access to most of the leading Blue Care Network-contracted hospitals and facilities in Michigan.

Finding a doctor

Your employees can use Find a Doctor to find a complete list of all the doctors, hospitals and facilities in the PCP Focus network. Employees can select a PCP Focus primary care physician by logging in to Member Secured Services or calling the Customer Service number on the back of their ID card.

PCP Focus members living in one of the seven PCP Focus network counties must select a primary care physician from the PCP Focus network to have medical services covered.
